Stanley Eguma is assured Rivers United will play good soccer and get good outcomes at Godswill Akpabio Stadium, after they start their CAF Confederation Cup Group section journey.
Rivers United will participant their dwelling in Uyo after their unique dwelling floor Adokiye Amiesiamaka stadium was not accepted by CAF.
“Godswill Akpabio Stadium isn’t going to be a brand new floor for us. We’ve been enjoying league matches there over time so its a well-known terrain for us,” Eguma acknowledged.
“We’re going to be at dwelling in Uyo. So long as we’re enjoying on the Nigerian soil, we see it as our dwelling.
“However it’s unlucky that we’ll not be enjoying on our conventional dwelling in Port Harcourt which might have given us numerous benefits and confidence as a result of that’s our fortress.”
Rivers United are drawn in Group B and can face ASEC Mimosa, Diables Noir and DC Motema Pembe.
Stanley Eguma’s males will get their group section marketing campaign underway on February 12 with a visit to Diables Noir.
