2023 Kwara State Federation Cup draw: Six clubs begin journey to national finals

Four men’s team and two women’s clubs will fight it out when the 2023 Kwara State Federation Cup kick off on March 8.

Six men’s teams registered, with SGFC Athletics scheduled to face House of Prayer on March 8, while Foresight and Dickalo FA will square up a day after as holders Kwara United and ABS FC were drawn bye.

The two top-seeded teams, Kwara United and ABS FC thus progressed to the semi-final on March 14 and 15, 2023, with the two teams from the Nigeria Premier Football League and Nigeria National League respectively.

In the women’s category, only two women’s teams registered for the 2023 Kwara State Federation Cup.

Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Championship teams, Kwara Ladies FC and Moje Queens will slug it out  as the final for both men and women’s categories of this year’s Federation Cup hold on March 19.

Winners of the final will represent the state at the national finals.
