Cremonese manager Davide Ballardini hails Cyriel Dessers’ work rate

Cremonese manager, Davide Ballardini has appreciated the work rate of striker Cyriel Dessers in the current season.

Super Eagles forward, Dessers bang in a brace in Cremonese 3-2 loss to Sassuolo after coming in as a second half substitute for Ghanaian forward, Afena Gyan in the Italian Serie A game on Monday.

The Nigeria international just recovered from the treatment room and made a good mark in the game despite the narrow loss.

Ballardini described the Nigerian as a very good player and delivered his assignment eloquently, stressing his boldness and hunger for success.

“He was very good, he did well. His assignment is to always play this way: bold, determined and then decisive,” he told club media.

Le Tigri will welcome Fiorentina to the 20,641 capacity Stadio Giovanni Zini on Sunday, 12th of March 2023.

Cremonese will be facing a very tough fight to avoid relegation as they languish in the relegation zone with 12 points from 25 matches.
