Mixed fortunes for Nigerian duo as Manchester City compound Leicester woes

It was a night of mixed feelings for the duo Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho whose Premier League side, Leicester City further sunk to a 3-1 to Manchester City on Saturday.
The Foxes are further sinking deep to the relegation place following yet another defeat despite bringing in Dean Smith as manager to see the team through the last phase of the season.
While Nigeria midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi was culpable for one of City’s goals scored from penalty after VAR confirmed he handled the ball in the box, his compatriot, Iheanacho got the consolatory goal for Leicester in the second half.
It was also night made for Citizens’ top marksman, Erling Haaland who scored two of the goals with the other coming from in form John Stones.
Iheanacho’s goal was his fourth in the Premier League alongside four assists of the season.
Its getting more tougher for Smith and the Foxes to find a way out of the drop zone as they sit 19th on log with 25 points with seven games to go.
