Desire Oparanozie scores in Wuhan Jiangda win over Beijing Baxy

Nigeria forward, Desire Oparanozie was on the score sheet in Wuhan Jianghan 3-0 win against Beijing Baxy in the Chinese Women’s Super League encounter on Saturday.

Oparanozie made a goalscoring return to club football after an exciting international break in Turkey where she scored for Nigeria in their 3-0 win against New Zealand.

Li Yanfei scored the opener for Wuhan Jianghan in the 34th minute to put the club in the driving seat of the game.

Six minutes after restart, Oparanozie doubled the effort of Wuhan with a cool finish in the 51st minute.

Zhang Rui scored in the 68th minute to wrap up a convincing win for Wuhan Jianghan.

After five matches in the Chinese Super League, Wuhan remain top of the table with 15 points from five matches.

Wuhan will face Henan in their next encounter in the Chinese topflight on the 26th of April.
