2023 NBSL MD2 Wrap: Kada Stars win big as Kebbi United, Kebbi BSC see victories

Defending Champions, Kada BSC were the biggest winners of Matchday two of the 2023 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) Round 1 after an 11-0 win over Ibom BSC.

Joseph Francis, Dozie Frank (three goals), and Tanko Emmanuel gave Kada BSC a 6-0 lead at the end of the first period, with Akin Idowu, James Mammah, and Ahmed Isah increasing the lead to 9-0.

Isah’s second goal of the game alongside that of Tanko Emmanuel sealed an 11-0 win for Kada BSC.

The second match of the day ended 5-3 in favour of Kebbi United BSC against Smart City BSC, with yhe two sides played out a 3-3 draw in regulation time to drag the contest into extra time.

A goal from man of the match, Hamza Manga and Hamza Abubakar in the extra time sealed the win for Kebbi United.

In the last game of the day, 2021 Champions, Kebbi BSC claimed a 5-3 win against Nmanko Patigi BSC.

Ohwoferia Emma scored three goals to lead Kebbi Fishers to its second win of the campaign.

On Monday, three more games will round up the first stanza as Nmanko Patigi and Smart City BSC will face off in the morning game while Kebbi United BSC will trade tackles with Ibom BSC.

The last and star match of the final day will see former champions Kebbi BSC faces Kada BSC slug it out.
