CAF Champions League: Kudakwashe Mahachi bracing up for Remo Stars challenge

Medeama SC newly recruited midfielder, Kudakwashe Mahachi is courageous ahead of his side CAF Champions League tie against Remo Stars later this month.

Mahachi was signed by the Ghanaian Premier League champions to bolster their squad ahead of the CAF Champions League.

The Zimbabwean international said Medeama SC is under pressure to deliver as Ghana topflight league champions and he promised to deliver his best against Remo Stars.

He’s very much certain that they can defeat the Sky Blue Stars by working hard towards their target.

“As you know the pressure is too high because the team won the league last season so for now we need to maintain that,” Mahachi was quoted by BSN Sports.

“As new players, we need to work hard and follow what they did last year. In everything there is competition, and as a player, you need to work hard for your place to play. We are certain of beating the Nigerian team.”

Medeama SC will clash with the Sky Blue Stars on the 20 of August by 4pm Nigeria time and the reverse fixture taking place on the 25 of August at Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.

The winner of the two legged tie will advance to the group stage of the prestigious CAF Champions League.
