Kebbi BSC gets group opponents for 2023 Beach Soccer World Winners Cup

Nigeria champion, Kebbi Beach Soccer Club (BSC) now knows their group opponents ahead of the 2023 World Winners Cup in Alghero.

The draw ceremony for the competition took place at Casal d’Entitas, near the Beach Soccer Worldwide headquarters, Spain, on Wednesday.

The two-time champions of the Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) have been drawn in Group H alongside two other African teams for the tourney.

Kebbi Fishers will face South Refineries from Iraq, Malika SC (Senegal), and JKT Tanzania. 32 teams from 23 countries were drawn into eight groups of four teams.

Kebbi BSC is the only Nigerian team that will participate in the tournament and joined by two other African teams.

The championship organised by Beach Soccer Worldwide, will see Kebbi BSC feature in its second international tournament.

This is the third edition of the World Winners Cup and will be held from the 26th of September to 1st of October 2023.  Alghero in Italy will be the venue for the 2023 edition of the World Winners Cup.
