Taiwo Lawal pens emotional farewell message to Robo Queens after move to Turkey

Nigeria star, Taiwo Lawal has penned emotional farewell message to NWFL Premiership side, Robo Queens after officially joining Atasehir Belediyespor in Turkey.
The goal poacher ended her three years reign at Robo Queens by joining Atasehir in the Turkish league and the Nigeria U20 forward appreciated the Lagos Landladies for the memories and moments spent together at the club.
Taiwo further wished Robo Queens well in their future endeavors as she kickstart a new lease of life in Turkey.
“I want to appreciate FC Robo Queens for the moments we had together, I learnt a lot at the club and I wish them well in their future endeavors. We had great memories together but those memories will linger on,” she said on her official Twitter (X) handle.
“My exciting moments at Robo Queens include winning the 2021 Flying Officer’s Cup in Abuja where I was voted MVP of the tournament and winning the 2022 Betsy Obaseki Women Football Tournament where I won the highest goal scorer award.
“My appreciation goes to the club backroom staff and technical crew for the lessons learnt at the club. I wish Robo Queens all the best ahead as I forge ahead in my career at Atasehir Belediyespor.”
Lawal was one of the top strikers in the NWFL Premiership, winning the highest goal scorer gong at the 2022 Betsy Obaseki Women’s Cup racking up seven goals and three assists for Robo Queens at the preseason tourney.
