Official: Kehinde Akinwande joins Albanian giants KFF Apolonia

Nigeria international, Kehinde Akinwande has joined KFF Apolonia from Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership side, Robo Queens in an undisclosed fee.
The Super Falcons defender teamed up with the Albanian club for a two years deal. Akinwande who started her career with Robo Queens in Lagos, had a short stint with Osun Babes before reuniting with the Lagos Landladies.
The crunchy defender is known for her hard tackling skills and bravery on the air.
Apolonia are third on the Albania Women’s National Championship table with nine points from four matches.
Apolonia crushed Kinostudio 6-1 in their previous game and will face Teuta on Saturday November four.
Akinwande was part of the Robo Queens squad that won the 2023 Lagos FA Cup at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.
She also won the 2021 Flying Officer’s Cup in Abuja and the 2022 edition of the Betsy Obaseki Women Football Tournament (BOWFT) in Benin.
