Abia State Governor hosts Super Falcons duo Glory Ogbonna and Christy Ucheibe

After putting up an impressive outing at the just concluded 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, more governors are hosting players of the Nigeria women’s national team.
The latest addition was Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti and and his wife, Priscilla hosted two players of the Nigeria senior women’s national team, Christy Ucheibe and Glory Ogbonna at the Abia state government house on Monday.
Confirming the development, Ucheibe took to twitter to update her fans on her visit to the first citizen of Abia state.
“Excepting day in the heart of all the abians. I am thankful to God for making it a success to meet with his excellency governor Alex Otti and his wonderful wife Mrs Priscilla Otti for the huge worm reception at the governor’s mansion in Isialangwa Abia State,” she wrote on twitter.
Super Falcons midfielder, Ucheibe played all four games for the team at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup against Canada, Australia, Republic of Ireland, and England.
Ogbonna only featured during Nigeria’s 3-2 win over World Cup co-host, Australia. Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has also hosted the duo of Rasheedat Ajibade and Rofiat Imuran in Osogbo.
