Nasarawa United head coach, Abubakar Arikya is not disappointed with the performance of the team despite the 1-0 loss to Plateau United on Sunday.
The Solid Miners slipped to another Nigeria Premier Football League defeat in the hands of the Peace Boys courtesy of a 13th minute strike from Nenrot Silas.
And the interim manager blamed the defeat on hard luck as he believes his team played very well and to instructions.
“The boys played very well, it was just hard luck from our side. Honestly I’m happy with their performance, they played to instructions,” Arikya told media.
“I can’t say it’s a disappointment, it’s God that makes everything and that’s how God made it, so I will not be disappointed.”
Nasarawa United are languishing in the relegation waters as they are seated on the ninth position with ten points from 15 matches.
The Solid Miners will welcome Shooting Stars to the New Jos stadium in their next encounter as they battle hard to avoid the drop this season.
