Adebayo Adeleye: Nigerian goalkeeper shortlisted for Best Goalkeeper of the Season

Nigeria goalkeeper, Adebayo Adeleye has been shortlisted for the Best Goalkeeper of the Season award in the Israeli top division following his remarkable performance for Hapoel Jerusalem during the season.

The 23 year old goalkeeper has being in scintillating form for his Israeli side and was instrumental in their playoff berth.

Adeleye has kept 10 clean sheets in 29 matches for the capital club this campaign and will be hoping to accrue more votes to beat Omri Glazer (Hapoel Beer Sheva), Daniel Peretz (Maccabi Tel Aviv), Yoav Gerafi (FC Ashdod), John Cohen (Maccabi Haifa) and Itamar Nitzan (Maccabi Netanya) to the coveted prize.

The young shot-stopper, who is already attracting interests from top clubs in Europe has so far played 120 games for Hapoel Jerusalem keeping 51 clean sheets.

He is still waiting for his debut outing with the Super Eagles of Nigeria haven being an understudy to other top shot shoppers.
