Ademola Lookman: Nigerian forward not ruling out Premier League return

By Wale Mustapha

Highly-rated Nigerian forward, Ademola Lookman, has hinted that he could be open to a return to the English Premier League (EPL) in the future.

The Super Eagles striker first made a name for himself in English football with Charlton Athletic, before moving on to play for several EPL clubs, including Fulham, Everton, and Leicester City.

Now 27 years old, Lookman has been in sensational form since joining Atalanta two seasons ago.

His performances have played a key role in the club’s success, including securing a spot in the UEFA Champions League and winning the UEFA Europa League.

While speculation about a potential return to the Premier League has been circulating in recent weeks, Lookman remains tight-lipped about his future plans.

“As a person, I have grown up and I’ve matured a lot, and I have been able to achieve a lot in my time here,” Lookman said in an interview with Sporty TV.

“That’s also because I’ve been able to create a process in terms of my work, how I think, and all different aspects of my life—areas that I could improve on and do, which I have done. It’s all becoming who I am today, so I’m pleased with that. Wherever the future takes me, we shall see.”

With Lookman continuing to shine in Italy, his next move remains uncertain, but his experience and talent will undoubtedly make him an asset to any team—whether in Serie A or the Premier League.
