AFC Bournemouth earn EPL promotion after a win over Nottingham Forest

AFC Bournemouth earned a promotion back to the Premier League following a 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.
Bournemouth just needed the victory to return to England’s top-flight league after two years away. The Cherries got the job done thanks to Kieffer Moore’s second-half strike.
Nottingham could have taken the lead early in the game but Sam Surridge’s effort hit the crossbar from close range. It remained the only big chance of the game in the first half as both teams headed into a break.
Dominic Solanke also had the chance to see the back of the net but could not capitalize on the golden opportunity as his strike kissed the side of the net.
The visitors continued to hunt for a goal and with seven minutes to stoppage time, substitute Kiefe Moore curled the ball from close range and past Brice Samba.
The strike was enough to see Bournemouth join Fulham in the Premier League with Forest remaining in the play-off places.
