Afcon 2023: ‘Another hero is born!’ – Oliseh praises Nwabali for win over South Africa

Former Nigeria midfielder and coach, Sunday Oliseh has lauded the performance of Nigeria against South Africa in their AFCOM semi-final clash on Wednesday.
The Super Eagles advanced from the semi-finals after defeating South Africa 4-2 in a thrilling penalty shootout where Nwabali saved two penalties.
The 27-year-old made a string of saves in the first half when South Africa were on the ascendancy.
Osimhen overcame health complications that made him a doubt for the clash to post another eye-catching display for Nigeria.
Troost-Ekong, Samuel Chukuweze, Frank Onyeka, and Ola Aina also had an eventful evening but the former Juventus ace reserved his praises for Osimhen and Nwabali.
