Nigeria’s senior men’s national team on Tuesday night trained in the darkness ahead of their crucial 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying round clash against Guinea-Bissau this Friday in Abuja.
The Super Eagles opened camp in Abuja on Sunday and Jose Peseiro’s side are not taking chances with their preparation to qualify for the 2023 AFCON as the team finally gets a full house in training on Tuesday night.
The three-time African champions will keep a date with the Djurtus in their matchday three encounter on Friday before travelling to Bissau for the reverse fixture next week Monday.
However, on arrival at the Moshood Abiola international stadium to continue their preparation, the Super Eagles were met with a blackout.

The Eagles are on a run of four matches without a win, with the team only scoring one goal in that time.
