AFCON 2023: Time and where to watch Nigeria vs Cameroon Round of 16 clash

Nigeria takes on the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in a round of 16 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) fixture.
Both sides finished as the runners-up in their respective groups. While the Super Eagles came behind Equatorial Guinea on goal difference with 7 points, Cameroon finished behind Senegal who recorded three wins compared to their 4 points.
The two powerhouses shared eight AFCON titles between them, with the Lions having five, three of which were won beating Nigeria in the finals.
However, in their seven meetings at the Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeria and Cameroon have split three victories and one tie which came In 1988 when the two teams were in the same group.
In the meantime, Cameroon is hoping to defeat the Eagles in an AFCON match for the first time since 2000.
The match will take place at the Stade Félix Houphouet-Boigny where Cameroon won its first title against Nigeria.
Slated for Saturday, the encounter will kick off at 9 pm Nigerian time, and it will be aired on Afrosports, Supersports on DSTV, and Starstimes Sports Premium.
