AFCON 2025: Tunisia unveil final squad as Carthage Eagles prepare for Group C clashes

Tunisia’s senior men’s national team have officially unveiled their squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), signalling their readiness for another strong continental campaign.

The Carthage Eagles have been drawn into a challenging Group C, where they will go head-to-head against Uganda, Nigeria, and Tanzania — a mix of physicality, speed, and tactical discipline that promises one of the most competitive groups in the tournament.

With a disciplined squad and a reputation for consistency at AFCON, Tunisia are heading to Morocco with clear intent.

The North Africans remain one of the competition’s traditional heavyweights, renowned for their organisation, resilience, and ability to grind out results on the big stage.

Their last AFCON triumph came in 2004 on home soil, where they defeated this year’s host nation, Morocco, in the final — a historic moment that still fuels the ambitions of Tunisian football.

As the 2025 edition approaches, the Carthage Eagles will be aiming to replicate that success, backed by experience, tactical structure, and a squad determined to reclaim continental glory.
