Africa Beach Soccer Union president visits new NFF president, seeks cooperation

The President of the African Beach Soccer Union (ABSU), Mr. Mahmud Hadejia on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in a bid to also seek cooperation for the sport.
The Coordinator of Nigeria Beach Soccer Union who recently returned from a trip to Dubai where he attended the global Beach soccer body, Beach Soccer Worldwide event in Dubai, United Arab Emirates briefed the newly elected NFF President on his engagements in Dubai.
He intimated the NFF President on the development and impacts of the engagement in Dubai to Beach Soccer in Nigeria and Africa.
NFF President, Alhaji Musa Gusau commended ABSU President and the giant strides achieved with the Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) in the last two seasons.
He affirmed the commitment of his administration to the development of Beach Soccer in Nigeria.
The former Chairman of Chairmen of the NFF concluded by requesting a close relationship between ABSU President and NFF to make next season’s Nigeria Beach Soccer League bigger and better with innovations in other aspects of the game.
Kebbi Beach Soccer Club (BSC) won the maiden Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) in 2021 before being dethroned this year by Kada BSC.
