Ahmadu Bello Stadium partially close for renovation

The management of Ahmadu Bello Stadium (ABS) notified the public that sections of the stadium will be closed for remodelling and renovation beginning Monday, August 4, 2025.

The renovation project is expected to last for a few months.

This essential upgrade initiative is aimed at significantly enhancing user experience, improving stadium ambience, and strengthening safety standards.

During this period, access to affected parts of the stadium will be restricted to allow for uninterrupted work and ensure public safety.

<span;>> “We sincerely appreciate the understanding and cooperation of all stakeholders, patrons, and facility users during this important upgrade. We are committed to delivering a modernized stadium experience upon completion,” the ABS Management stated.

Updates regarding alternative arrangements for sporting events and other scheduled activities will be communicated in due course according to the stadium management.
