Ajeromi Council Boss Backs Oba Akran Cup

Chairman Ajeromi Ifelodun Native Authorities Council in Lagos, Fatai Adekunle Ayoola has thrown his weight behind the forthcoming Oba Akran Cup scheduled to kick off subsequent month throughout ten facilities in Badagry and its environs.

This was disclosed by the Chairman Organising Committee of Oba Akran Cup, Dr. Osondu Martins Ibegbu whereas chatting with sports247.ng on Monday in Lagos.

Ibegbu revealed that the competitors has obtained the help of the Council boss, Ayoola and he had promised his help for the competitors. He revealed that the assembly he and his committee had with him lately was fruitful and promised to launch Nathaniel Idowu’s astro turf soccer pitch for the opening ceremony and different matches throughout the event.

“Let me use this medium to thank our amiable chairman, Honourable Ayoola for his help in direction of Oba Akran Cup. Throughout my assembly with the council boss, he had promised to launch Nathaniel Idowu’s soccer pitch situated at Ajegunle for the opening match and a few matches might be performed there throughout the competitors.

“Secondly the council boss informed us that we must always come and do the attracts ceremony of Oba Akran Cup in his council chamber convention. I’m very grateful for this type gesture and I imagine that we’re equal to the duty to host a profitable competitors,” he mentioned.

The competitors is organized to have a good time His Royal Majesty, Oba Akran of Badagry whose birthday is scheduled held in September.
