Akor Adams set for fresh start as Venezia appoint Davide Nicola
Nigeria forward Akor Adams is set to begin working under a new manager after Venezia agreed to appoint Davide Nicola as their head coach.
Nicola will replace Giovanni Stroppa at the Italian club, with the change coming before Serie A resumes this weekend, according to BSNSports.com.ng.
The managerial switch is expected to give Adams a new opportunity to establish himself under a different tactical system. The forward will now look to adapt to Nicola’s methods while competing to strengthen his position in the Venezia team.
Nicola’s arrival also provides Adams with the chance to make an early impression on the new head coach. The Nigerian will hope to maintain his form and continue his development in Italian football as he begins the next stage of his Venezia career.
