Alex Iwobi cheers boxing star Anthony Joshua to victory over Jermaine Franklin

Nigeria international Alex Iwobi is one of the biggest stars at the 02 Arena in London when Anthony Joshua battled Jermaine Franklin in the boxing ring on Sunday.

After a six months absence, Joshua is back to winning ways against American professional boxer Franklin.

The Everton star was also in attendance at the fight alongside Premier League football stars Bukayo Saka and Wilfried Zaha to witness the win.

AJ defeated Franklin by unanimous decision with judges scoring the bout 118-111, 117-111, and 117-111 in Joshua’s favour.

However, the British fighter was not the only one who had secured a win on the day, with both Saka and Zaha playing a part in Arsenal and Crystal Palace’s victories.

Meanwhile, Iwobi will likely be  back in action for Everton on Monday as they take on Tottenham at Goodison Park, with hopes that they can climb further away from the relegation zone.
