Alex Iwobi rates teammates Tosin Adarabioyo and Calvin Bassey’s music tastes

Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi recently shared his thoughts on his teammates’ music tastes during a chat with Harvey Wood of Mixtape Madness.

Known for his own pop singing talent, the Nigerian international named Tosin Adarabioyo as having the best music taste among his teammates, while Calvin Bassey received a less favorable mention.

Iwobi praised Adarabioyo, who recently joined Chelsea, for his ability to cater to everyone’s musical preferences while controlling the dressing room playlist.

“Tosin was usually on the music, so he could accommodate everyone; he had the best. I’m going to add him to the list,” Iwobi said.

In contrast, Iwobi didn’t hold back when discussing Bassey’s music choices. “I like his music sometimes, but other times he’s playing some heavy drills. I’m thinking, bro, are you ready for football or ready to clamp a man down?” he joked.

Iwobi also mentioned that with Adarabioyo’s move to Chelsea, the music situation in Fulham’s dressing room might change next season.

“I’m not sure who it’s going to be next season; you’ll have to stay tuned. In the Nigerian changing rooms, it’s Samuel Chukwueze who plays for AC Milan.”

Iwobi’s candid comments highlight the diverse musical tastes in the football world and offer a lighthearted glimpse into team dynamics.
