By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

General Manager and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Enugu Rangers, Amobi Ezeaku has been listed as one of the players to feature for the club ahead of Sunday’s Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) encounter.

Rangers will face Niger Tornadoes in 2023/2024 NPFL encounter, with former player and goalkeeper, Ezeaku listed for the game at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.

He is following the footsteps of Edo State Deputy Governor, Comrade Philip Shaibu who was listed and played a league match for Bendel Insurance.

Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu backed the General Manager to join the team after scoring a fantastic goal in a game as the lawyer is expected to take his administrative acumen to the field of play on Sunday.

The Enugu-based side has witnessed tremendous transformation since he took over as the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer.

The turnaround includes administrative, financial, infrastructural, and structural developments.

Players, officials, and staff also enjoyed the confidence-boosting leadership Ezeaku has brought to the table at Rangers.
