Anam Imo bags assist as Piteå return to winning ways against Kalmar

Nigeria forward, Anam Imo had an assist Piteå IF secured a 2-1 win against IFK Kalmar in a Swedish Damallsvenskan encounter on Sunday.
The hosts had to come from a goal down to seal its first win in three games as Violah Nambi gave Kalmar the lead in the additional minutes of the first half.
However, Imo inspired her side’s comeback when she assisted Tuva Skoog to level for Piteå in the 75th minute.
Seven minutes from time, Emma Viklund made a huge difference in the closing stage with the hosts’ matchwinner.
Imo played full 90 minutes for her team as she bagged her second assist in the league this season.
She has also scored nine goals in 13 Damallsvenskan games. Her compatriot, Faith Michael also played the duration of the game for Piteå.
Piteå occupy the second position with the win and has 30 points, four points behind leader, BK Hacken.
The team will next face IK Uppsala on Sunday, June 25.
