Anambra State FA Cup: Awka Angels set up final clash with Maureen Mmadu FC

Awka Angels will face Maureen Mmadu FC in the final of the 2023 Anambra FA Cup in a repeat of the 2022 final.
The Akwa ladies defeated GP World FA Ladies 3-1 in the semi-final at the Awka City Stadium to rekindle the repeat of last year’s final.
The two finalists will represent Anambra State in the women’s Federation Cup joining the list of teams that have qualified from different states.
Elsewhere, Dannaz Ladies and FC Robo Queens will represent Lagos State while Lakeside Queens are Ogun State’s sole representative.
Sunshine Queens and FC Unity are Ondo State flag bearers with Naija Ratels FC and Paul E FC qualifying for the Federation Cup from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
From Enugu State, Greenfoot Football Academy and Immaculate Football Academy being the finalist from the state will also take part in the Federation Cup.
Edo Queens and Fortress Ladies from Edo State, Kwara Ladies and Moje Queens from Kwara State as well as Heartland Queens and First Mahi Babes from Imo State are the other confirmed Federation Cup teams.
Other states will complete their FA Cup and submit the name of finalists which will represent it at the Federation Cup to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
