Andrew Ikefe: Nigerian defender seals one-season deal with Lebanese

Nigerian defender Andrew Ikefe, has signed a one-year contract with Lebanese Premier League club Al Ahed FC.
The transfer from Shabab Al-Sahel FC was completed on Monday, with Ikefe set to start training with his new team on Tuesday.
Ikefe, who has spent the last two seasons with Shabab Al-Sahel, is embarking on a new chapter in his career with Al Ahed FC, a team known for its strong performance in the league.
Al Ahed FC won the championship in the 2022-23 season and, despite finishing third in the 2023-24 season behind Al Ansar and Al Nejmeh, they remain a formidable competitor.
Previously, Ikefe has made notable contributions to various Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) sides, including Kaduna United, Niger Tornadoes, and Plateau United.
His experience and skills are expected to bolster Al Ahed FC’s defense as they prepare for the upcoming season.
