Apolonia 12-0 Laçi: Ogechi Ukwuoma scores in Apolonia thrashing of Laçi in Albania

Ukwuoma Peace Ogechi was part of the goal scorers as Apolonia thrashed Laçi 12-0 in the Albania Women’s Championship.
The victory was a resounding response to a 2-0 defeat to defending champions Vllaznia in the previous round.
Six goals were scored in the first half from Jessica Ndoj, Ahlice Da Silva Guedes, Vanesa Levendi (hat trick), and
Bruna Lisandra Tenutti De Souza.
The host replicated the same scoreline in the second period as Levendi, De Souza, Klea Hamonikaj (brace), and
Dorcas Ntiriwa added five goals.
Ukwuoma completed the scoring in the 80th minute of play.
The win moved Apolonia to the crucial top-four position.
The team occupy the fourth position with 16 points after nine games.
The current position on the log put them in pole position for the season-ending playoff for the championship trophy.
