Arise TV’s Rufai Oseni slams Ruben Amorim as Man United “worst manager ever”

By Wale Mustapha

Rufai Oseni, a prominent host on Arise Television, has heavily criticized Ruben Amorim, the manager of Manchester United, calling him the “worst coach” in the club’s history.

Oseni’s remarks followed Amorim’s controversial comments after United’s 3-1 defeat to Brighton at Old Trafford on Sunday, where the manager described the current squad as possibly “the worst team in the history of Manchester United.”

Oseni, speaking on the “Sports Update” segment of Arise Television’s Morning Show, dismissed Amorim’s statements as unnecessary and damaging, especially coming from the leader of the team.

“Ruben Amorim is the worst Manchester United’s coach in over 145 years,” Oseni said.

The TV host also referenced Amorim’s initial appointment, which was met with skepticism when he accepted the job mid-season.

“This was a man a lot of people were saying, ‘you accepted a job mid-season’, and he said he was coming to bring dynamism. When he came, he played a couple of matches, and the players were not the worst in Manchester United’s history. This was needless. What he said was needless as a leader and a coach.”

Oseni’s criticism underscores the growing frustration with Amorim’s tenure at Manchester United, following a series of disappointing results.
