ASD Napoli condemns Kebbi BSC to second World Winners Cup defeat

Kebbi BSC lost their second group game 7-4 to ASD Napoli of Italy at the 2023 World Winners Cup in Alghero, on Wednesday.
With seven minutes to the end of the first period, a foul by Taiwo Adams resulted in a penalty.
Sciacca converted the resulting spot kick to give ASD Napoli the lead.
Antonia doubled the lead for the Italian side with a few seconds to the end of the first period.
In the second period, Moxedano increased the lead to three for Napoli.
Ohwoferia Emmanuel reduced the deficit for the two-time Nigerian league winners.
Nazarov made it 3-2 before a goal from Zurlo restored ASD Napoli’s two-goal lead.
Three goals from Moxedano, Palmacci, and Zurlo gave the Italian team a 7-2 lead in the third period.
Kebbi Fishers scored two goals from Ekene Obi and Usman Muhammed but the Italian held on for their second win of the campaign.
Kebbi BSC will next face BS Vion of Slovakia in the final Group A match on Thursday.
