Asisat Oshoala increases her season goal tally as Barcelona thrash Ohale’s Alaves

Nigeria international Asisat Oshoala scored her third league goal of the season for Spanish topflight title holders, FC Barcelona and her team thrashed Osinachi Ohale’s Deportivo Alaves 8-0 on Sunday.
Claudia Pina opened the scoring for the Catalan side in the eighth minute from Irene Paredes’s assist at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, Barcelona.
Four minutes later, Oshoala doubled her side’s lead as Fridolina Rolfo set her up for her third league goal of the campaign.
Claudia Pina in the 36th minute increased the host lead to three from the penalty spot and two minutes from halftime, Nuria Rabano assisted Mapi Leon for Barcelona’s fifth goal.
In the second half, FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup winner with Spain, Salma Paralluelo made it 6-0.
Ana Maria-Crnogorcevic and Geyse Ferreira scored two more goals to make the game ended in an 8-0 bashing of Deportivo Alaves.
The Super Falcons forward and record five-time African Women’s Player of the Year played the full duration of the game for FC Barcelona Femeni while Ohale in the 76th minute was replaced by Sara Carrillo for Deportivo Alaves.
FC Barcelona has now won all nine league games this season and tops the league table, while struggling Alaves with two points occupy the bottom of the table.
