Asisat Oshoala, Rasheedat Ajibade and eight others swell Super Falcons camp to 19

Ten players, including Barcelona star Asisat Oshoala and Atletico Madrid forward Rasheedat Ajibade joined the camp of Nigeria’s senior women’s national team before breakfast in Antalya, Turkey on Wednesday.
The Super Falcons had checked into Sense de luxe Hotel, Antalya on Tuesday with nine players at dinner time ahead of Friday’s friendly match with Haiti and showdown with New Zealand three days later.
On Wednesday morning, France based stars – Stade de Reims duo of Tosin Demehin and Rofiat Imuran alongside Paris FC goalie, Chiamaka Nnadozie as well as Leicester City FC defender, Ashleigh Plumptre also joined the camp.
 Spain-based quintets of Gift Monday (UDG Tenerife), Oshoala (FC Barcelona), Ngozi Okobi (Las Palmas), Toni Payne (Sevilla), and Ajibade (Atletico Madrid) completed the 10 arriving players before breakfast.
The latest arrivals swells the number in camp to 19, with Yewande Balogun, Regina Otu, Esther Okoronkwo, Onome Ebi, Etim Iyene, Abiodun Deborah, Halimatu Ayinde, Vivian Ikechukwu, and Glory Ogbonna the early birds in camp.
Other still expected are American based trio of Michelle Alozie, Uchenna Kanu, and Jennifer Onyi Echegini and China based Desire Oparanozie.
The nine-time African champions have a date against World Cup-bound Haiti women’s national team at the Emir Sports Complex in Antalya, Turkey on Friday, 7th April, before taking on 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup co-hosts New Zealand at the Mardan Sports Complex also in Antalya on Tuesday, 11th April.
