As preparations intensify for the 2025 WAFU Zone B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers in August, Bayelsa Queens FC have officially unveiled their 25-player provisional squad for the tournament.

According to the club, the selected players embody the strength, discipline, and ambition of the Prosperity Girls as they target a return to the continental stage.

The roster comprises:

  • 4 Goalkeepers
  • 8 Defenders
  • 6 Midfielders

This marks Bayelsa Queens’ second appearance at the WAFU-B qualifiers, having won the title in Côte d’Ivoire in 2022. They return to the same country this year, aiming to reclaim the regional crown after clinching the 2024/25 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership title.

The winner of the WAFU-B tournament will go on to represent the zone at the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League.
