Bayer Leverkusen star Victor Boniface is a complete player – Xabi Alonso

Bayer Leverkusen head coach, Xabi Alonso says Victor Boniface is a complete player which he’s proud of.

The Nigeria forward have been in a electrifying form in the German Bundesliga racking up five goals in four matches in all competitions.

Alonso described Boniface as a proficient striker who’s capable of unlocking opponent defense with his technical abilities, while lauding the 22-year-old’s good chemistry with his teammates on and off the pitch.

“Victor is not a merely proficient striker, he is a complete player,” Boniface was quoted by Brila FM.

“And you can see that he gets along very well with his teammates, both on and off the pitch.”

Boniface exceptional performance has earned him a call up to the Super Eagles squad for the AFCON qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe in Uyo.
