Belgium: Arokodare Scores in Genk’s Home Defeat to Union Saint-Gilloise

Tolu Arokodare found the net during KRC Genk’s 2-1 loss to Union Saint-Gilloise at Cegeka Arena on Saturday.
Promise David, a Nigerian-born striker, opened the scoring for Union Saint-Gilloise with a penalty just three minutes before halftime.
David added a second goal for the visitors five minutes into the second half.
This season, the Canadian international has tallied 20 goals in all competitions for Union Saint-Gilloise.
Arokodare managed to pull one back for Genk during stoppage time.
The 24-year-old has now netted 19 league goals for Thorsten Fink’s team this season.
Defending champions Club Brugge currently lead the playoff standings with 42 points from 34 matches, holding a two-point advantage over both Genk and Union.
