Beyond Limits retain NPFL/LaLiga U15 champions after Mees Palace triumph

The Remo Stars Academy defeated Plateau United academy team to make it back-to-back wins in the NPFL La Liga U-15 competition at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

Both teams earlier clashed in the group stage where Remo Stars emerged victorious with a 2-1 scoreline.

Opeyemi Olufemi scored the vital goal that separated the two teams in the 51st minute in a keenly contested final.

The striker who scored 10 goals to emerge as the tournament highest goal scorer set a new record to become the first player to score in all the games at the tournament.

The youngster has now surpassed the record set by Rangers International star Million Coma who scored nine goals in the first edition of the competition. It took Yusuf six matches to score 10 goals and stole the show.
