Fenerbache defender Bright Osayi-Samuel will be out of football activities for weeks due to recent injury he picked up during club engagement.
Osayi-Samuel injured his foot with about 10 minutes to end Fenerbache’s Turkish Cup clash against Caykur Rizespor on Saturday.
The impressive Nigerian right back, who was replaced by William Arao in the match is expected to have scan on the injury to determine its severity and how long he will stay on the sidelines.
The recent injury for the Super Eagles’ defender may have caused a huge setback for his club who have so much relied on him this campaign.
He has also been a subject of transfer interests from notable Premier League clubs including Southampton and Crystal Palace.
The 26-year-old who is valued around €11m has two years left on his current Fenerbache deal and has made 15 league appearances this season.
Fenerbahce are placed second in the Turkish Super Lig – four points adrift leaders Galatasaray.
