Bruno Guimaraes sends POTM message to Newcastle fans

Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes has taken to social media on Thursday, to unveil a message to the club’s supporter base.
This comes with the Brazilian, amid a stellar stint in England to date, having today bagged a deserved nomination for a Premier League prize.
The accolade in question? The division’s Player of the Month.
Guimaraes enjoyed another fine month in April, controlling proceedings from his berth at the heart of Newcastle’s midfield en route to a trio of goals, as well as an assist.

Such endeavours proved telling when it came to putting points on the board, too, as Eddie Howe’s troops climbed into the top half of the Premier League table by means of four wins on the bounce.
And, if his latest social media activity is anything to go by, then it appears that Guimaraes is hopeful that his efforts on the pitch could yet translate into a first individual prize since making the move to Tyneside.
Taking to his official Twitter account on Thursday, the former Lyon standout pleaded with the Newcastle faithful to ‘vote for me’:

Should Guimaraes ultimately go on to add to his trophy cabinet by means of the Player of the Month award for April, then he will need to beat out some stiff competition in the process.
This comes with the South American having been joined by a star-studded cast on the shortlist for the prize, in the form of:
Son Heung-min, Kevin De Bruyne, Thiago Alcantara, Nathan Collins, Gabriel Jesus, Cristiano Ronaldo and Leandro Trossard:
