Before the clash with Kayserispor, Bursaspor had faced a challenging period, enduring six consecutive league games without a win since their 3-0 triumph against Konyaspor on December 3rd, 2022. The much-needed victory now propels Bursaspor to the 10th position in the Turkish Super Lig table, amassing a total of 30 points.

The solitary goal that secured the win came from Bogdan Stancu in the 76th minute of the match, providing a sense of relief for Bursaspor and their fans.
