CAF to Announce 2026 CHAN Host and 2025 Awards Venue

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is poised to make major announcements following its Executive Committee meeting this weekend in Rabat, Morocco.
CAF will unveil the host nation for the 2026 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Originally set for 2024, the CHAN 2024 tournament will now be held in August 2025, co-hosted by Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda.
CAF will confirm the host city for next year’s 2025 CAF Awards. The last two editions were held in Marrakesh, Morocco.
A new Chairman of the Inter-club Competitions Committee is expected to be appointed.
The announcements come amid growing anticipation for the continued development and promotion of African football across both club and national team competitions.
