CAFCC: Etiosa Ighodaro nets brace as Supersport beat Gabaorone to group stage ticket

Two second half strikes from Nigerian striker, Etiosa Ighodaro aided South African side, Supersport to a comfortable 3-0 win over Gaborone in the second leg of CAF Confederation Cup clash on Friday.
The victory saw the Matsatsantsa qualified for the lucrative group stage of the competition 4-1 aggregate following their 1-1 draw in the first leg in Botswana.
The first half ended goaless even with Supersport dominated most parts of it but find it hard to break the defense of Gaborone.
It didn’t take much of the second half before the hosts find a breakthrough when Ighodaro reached to the end of a perfect pass from Ronald Pfumbudzai.
The goal gave the Matsatsantsa some confidence and much relief to go in search of more.
They scored the second goal in the 72nd minutes also from Ighodaro who was allowed some space in the goal area before unleashing a venom That was too hard for Gaborone keeper to deal with.
The Nigerian striker would not have the time to score his hat trick for the hosts as he was swapped for Bradley Grobler who would then scored the third goal to put the game beyond the reach of the visitors.
