CAFCC: Philip Shaibu urges Insurance to remain resolute ahead of ASO Chlef clash

Deputy Governor of Edo State, Comrade Philip Shaibu has advised Insurance FC to redouble their efforts that will enough to secure next round of CAF Confederation Cup over ASO Chlef in Algeria.
Insurance defeated Chelef 1-0 in the first leg of the first qualifying round on Saturday thanks to first half goal by Imade Osarenkhoe.
The Benin Arsenal will have much to do in the return leg in Algiers despite the first leg win and Comrade Shaibu was elated by the win just as he charged the team not to relent and give more for the second leg match.
In a post on the Deputy Governor’s Facebook page, he said “Ada BENDEL!”, “With a grateful heart to God, I’m happy to see our dear Warriors excel today in the match against ASO Chlef.”
“It wasn’t an easy encounter with the Algerian Cup winners, but our boys showed resilience and proved that they are not pushovers,” Shaibu wrote on his official facebook account.
“We have only won the battle, not the war, so I will be there to support you for the second leg of next week.
“Go for the victory next week, guys, go and do the Great Edo Proud.”
Insurance will need to avoid defeat in Algeria to stand a chance of next qualifying round.
