Caleb Ochedikwu: Nigeria midfielder joins Croatian club, NK Uljanik Pula

Nigerian midfielder Caleb Ochedikwu has joined the growing list of Nigerian players making moves abroad this summer, following his transfer to Croatian side NK Uljanik Pula.

The 19-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the club after impressing during a successful trial.

Ochedikwu, who was discovered and developed by Mavlon FC in Lagos, a club known for nurturing football talents for European teams, has drawn comparisons to Manchester City’s Rodri due to his playing style.

His ability to win the ball, initiate attacks from deep, and deliver precise passes and powerful shots has made him a standout talent.

The young midfielder was also part of the Nigerian Flying Eagles squad that won the bronze medal at the 2023 AFCON U-20 tournament held in Egypt.

His move to NK Uljanik Pula highlights his growing reputation and the increasing trend of Nigerian players advancing their careers in European football.
