Carabao Cup: Kelechi Iheanacho scoops Player of the Match award in Leicester City win

Nigeria forward, Kelechi Iheanacho won the player of the match award in Leicester City 2-0 win over Burton Albion in the first round of the Carabao Cup.

Iheanacho scored a good goals and provided the assist for Leicester City second goal of the game to wrap up an impressive performance.

The Super Eagles striker put the Foxes ahead with a sublime back heel finish in sixth minute. At the stroke of half time, Iheanacho popped up to provide an assist for Wilfred Ndidi to blast home the second goal of the game.

Leicester City will square up against Tranmere Rovers in the next round of the Carabao Cup.

The Foxes will begin their Championship life against Huddersfield at the John Smith’s Stadium on August 12.
