Championship: Nigeria defender Semi Ajayi scores in West Brom win

Nigeria international, Semi Ajayi was on the score sheet in West Brom 3-2 win against Swansea City in the English Championship encounter on Saturday.

Ajayi scored an early goal in the game as he powered home a right footed volley to give West Brom the lead.

The Baggies dominated proceedings in the encounter but couldn’t find the back of the net in the first 45 minutes.

West Brom was handed a lifeline with Swansea defender, Rushworth diverting a cross into his own net.

The Baggies weren’t done as they scored their third goal from the penalty spot in the 64 minutes.

Darling and Wood scored two goals for Swansea to engineer a tensed final moments of the game.

The Baggies tried adding to their advantage at the tail end of the match but ended up with a slim 3-2 win over Swansea.

West Brom will tackle Leeds United in their next league game.
