Sevilla winger Chidera Ejuke has expressed his confidence in the Super Eagles’ ability to rebound in their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign, as they prepare for matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
Although Ejuke was not included in the squad for the upcoming qualifiers, he remains optimistic about the team’s prospects.
“We have a lot of players in Nigeria… it’s the coach’s decision, and he knows what he’s doing,” Ejuke stated, supporting the coach’s choices despite his own absence from the lineup.
Ejuke, who has been in excellent form for Sevilla, added, “I wish the boys the best… I’ll be watching, and I hope they win the matches.”
His comments reflect his continued belief in the Super Eagles’ talent and potential.
The Super Eagles will face a pivotal double-header, beginning with an away match against Rwanda on March 21, followed by a home fixture against Zimbabwe in Uyo on March 25.
These crucial fixtures will play a key role in shaping Nigeria’s path to the 2026 World Cup.
