Chinaza Agoh on target in ZED FC loss to Wadi Degla

By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde
Nigeria’s Chinaza Agoh scored ZED FC’s consolation goal during their 3-1 loss to Wadi Degla in the Egyptian Women’s Premier League on Friday.
A goal from the former Delta Queens player was not enough to prevent her side from defeat.
Baskouta, Gifty, and Noha found the back of the net for former league winners during a comfortable win.
Agoh, who won the 2022/23 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership title with the Pearls, increased her goal tally to 22 in the league.
She is tied for the same number of goals with compatriots Charity Reuben (Al Ahly) and Alice Ogebe (FC Masar) in the race for the top goal scorer.
Sandrine Niyonkuru, who has left FC Masar, has scored 26 goals to sit at the top of the chart.
ZED FC seats in the seventh position on the 10-team Egypt Women’s Premier League log with 35 points.
The league is in Phase two with four games played at this stage before the league champions will emerge.
