Chinwendu Ihezuo bags brace as Pachuca win seven-goal thriller against Club Tijuana

Nigeria forward, Chinwendu Ihezuo scored two goals to lift Mexican women’s top fight side, Pachuca to a 4-3 victory against Club Tijuana.
The former Monterrey player put her side ahead as early as the eighth minute of play at the Estadio Caliente, Tijuana.
Veronica Corral doubled the lead for the visitors in the 42nd minute.
With the halftime break approaching, the host equalised thanks to Marta Cox as both sides were tied after the first period.
12 minutes into the second half, Club Tijuana took the lead for the first time in the game.
The travelers would have been stunned but Ihezuo rose to convert her second goal of the encounter to restore parity.
With five minutes remaining on the clock, Corral also scored her second goal of the game to win the match for Pachuca.
Osinachi Ohale and Ihezuo played for the duration of the match for the travelers.
Ihezuo has scored 12 goals in 15 games in the league this season
Pachuca occupies the third position on the table with 38 points after 15 games, the same points as Monterrey and two points behind leaders, UANL Tigres.
